superb atmosphere

The first day I stepped into the doors of the College of Computer Studies in Gordon College I knew it.........

"......people who were excellent team players and possessing the ability and eagerness to work under pressure, this, I can affirm as I witness their adrenaline to work, their collaborative effort as they unite - the faculty and staff of this department...."

Enthusiastically boosted with high spirit of professionalism we did it. We have successfully celebrated the annual cyber week for the year 2009 with a theme; -"Making Intelligent Things Happen", in line with the PSITE Region 3 Chapters 5th Students Conference on Information and Technology Education and Skills Competition held during the week long celebration of the departments activity bagging essential roots for some of the skills competition.

The Cyber Week started last Monday, January 26, 2009 and during that week, we had concluded a lot of activities including a batch presentation per block, a testimonial speech, digital poster making, junior and senior quiz bees', JAVA and C# programming, wall mural, pop dance and flash animations. Included as a part of the weeks activity is the 5th Student Conference on Information Technology and Skills Competition which was participated by almost forty two colleges and universities in the region.

To highlight the week long celebration is the search for Mr. and Ms. CCS 2009 which was held at the Marikit Park in Olongapo City last January 30.

Even as a newbie, I was accepted and was given that rare kind of opportunity working with them and sharing them what I have (considering I was once a part lecturer and molder of a competitively equal college somewhere in Olongapo). This kind of people are really great, all of us makes a powerful skills and talents of synergy.

To my colleagues two thumbs up for that job well done. To our mentor, the guru herself, our very own Mudgee (we all fondly call her that way) -Mam Linda, your so unique in every sense, very passionate, understanding and inspiring thanks for accepting me as such.

Thanks for that out of town Baguio Trip (Feb. 7, 2009)....I lovE it.....
(sana after the foundation week bora naman (*-*), yipey!)
