Update and Upgrade

As the calendar marks the start of summer classes for A.Y. 2008-2009 another pace is set to begin.

Last April 15, we received an invitation coming from Microsoft Philippines to attend their Subic MSDN Roadshow which was held at the Subic International Hotel in Subic Bay Freeport Zone SBMA Olongapo City. The said event was graced by different IT professionals, educators and students coming from places with in the region. Topics presented were Azure, ASP.NET 4.0 and creation of Silverlight Application which really catched the interest of the IT people. Mr. Edu Lorenzo facilitated the four hour seminar. Some freebies were also given as token to attendees.

During the mid part of this month, the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Region 3 Chapter in cooperation with Tarlac State University hold their monthly seminar workshop (MSW) in OpenSource 3D Modelling Using BLENDER and integrating AJAX technology to PHP. The said seminars were facilitated by Prof. Juanito Paras II and Prof. Alvin Miclat, respectively, both from Angeles University Foundation
